Coverbind Introduces the 9000EX — the First Automated, Off-line, Wide-spine Binding Solution
(Wilmington, North Carolina, June 1, 2015) – Coverbind Corporation — a subsidiary of Swedish-based Bindomatic — announced the launch of the 9000EX. One of the biggest advancements in recent document binding history, the 9000EX allows wide spine sizes to be bound with groundbreaking speed and efficiency only possible with Drop&Go Technology®, delivering even more performance and capabilities to the Coverbind 9000 line.
Up to this point, larger spine sizes had to be manually bound using traditional punch and bind methods. Now, the 9000EX, using Drop&Go Technology®, automates the process and binds up to 720 printed pages, up to 1.5 inches, spending just seconds at the machine.
“Many print rooms find binding thicker documents and books with traditional methods a challenge,” said Jörgen Friman, CEO & President of Bindomatic. “In order to fill that void we are excited to release our latest machine, the 9000 EX. It is designed specifically for larger-sized documents and can perform in the same fast and efficient way that our Coverbind 9000 does.”
“Our customers see us as the Binding Efficiency Experts, and with that distinction we challenge ourselves to find new and innovative solutions for the print room operator,” said John Davis, CMO of Bindomatic. “The response to the 9000, which binds up to 240 times faster than traditional methods, has been incredible and in order to fill the void of binding thicker documents in print rooms, we invented the Coverbind 9000EX.”
The 9000EX is available today through the Coverbind Online Store (www.Coverbind.com), Coverbind sales representatives, and Coverbind Authorized Distributors.
